Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed in regards to the substantial amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a higher amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the sassa status lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The support stage produced for intervention ordeals a significant influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to help the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
